Keep important moments together
Record a decision, discovery, conflict, bargain or consequence with the context that matters. Titles, participants, places and descriptions help you return to it later.
Keep the history ready for the next session
Record the moments that changed your campaign, connect the events and read the session metrics that help you prepare what comes next.

Keep the campaign in view
A useful history brings entered events, their connections and your session assessments together while leaving interpretation with your table.
Record a decision, discovery, conflict, bargain or consequence with the context that matters. Titles, participants, places and descriptions help you return to it later.
Link an event to what it follows from and see those relationships as arrows. Use named lanes to distinguish party, faction, world or other threads you choose.
Record metric values after a game and compare their movement on the chart. Authority, pressure and other measures help you revisit the changes you decided to track.
Review unresolved threads, earlier decisions and the notes behind a shift. The record helps you prepare callbacks without deciding what the players must do next.

Events with connections
Keep event descriptions, lanes and links together. Review open threads alongside the campaign’s entered history.
The diagram draws the records you enter. You decide what the connections mean and what deserves attention next.
A practical history workflow
Start or open a local campaign, choose useful measures and keep the record current after each game.
Enable offered measures or add custom metrics with your own names. Authority, Pressure and Reputation begin enabled; choose what makes sense for your table.
Set values from zero to 100 and add an optional session title and note. Edit or remove earlier session entries when you need to correct the record.
Give an event a title, choose a lane, category and status, then add dates and other context when useful. Select the events it follows from to draw dependency arrows.
Read continuity notes, narrow the view with filters and reopen useful local work through Saved. Keep exported JSON alongside any custom metric definitions you need to reconstruct the display.
What the tool provides
Use two related views of the same campaign: entered events in lanes and your metric values across numbered sessions.
Track Authority, Pressure, Reputation and other offered measures, or add custom metrics. Set entered values from zero to 100 after each session and add a title or note.
Compare enabled metric lines across ordered sessions. Use the legend to hide or show a line and hover a session to read its values. The numbers express your assessment of the campaign.
Record a title, lane, category, status, session, campaign and real dates, description, participants, location and faction. Use the fields that help you understand the event later.
Place events in named lanes and link an event to what it follows from. Open threads use outlined diamonds; resolved and abandoned events use filled circles.
Review missing links, duplicate identifiers, untitled events, self-links and dependency loops across the whole stored chronology. The report does not repair records automatically.
Search event text or filter lane, category and status. Spacing and Fit adjust the lane view. Filters narrow what is drawn while keeping the stored record and continuity check intact.
The open campaign attempts to save automatically on this computer. Reopen or delete local campaigns through Saved. Keep exported data and verify useful work by reopening it.
Import, copy, download or edit session and event JSON. Export the filtered lane view as SVG or print the Events view. Review the visible material before sharing.
Two ways to read the campaign
Choose the view that answers your preparation question, then review the underlying records before drawing conclusions.
Compare enabled metric lines across session numbers. Use the legend to show or hide measures and hover a session to read its values. The chart does not infer a score from event descriptions.
Use named lanes and categories to arrange the record. Outlined diamonds mark open or in-progress threads; filled circles mark resolved or abandoned events. Select an event to edit it.
Search event text or select lane, category and status. Hidden events stay stored. An arrow is drawn only when both ends are visible, so a filtered view can omit some connections.
Session number leads event order, followed by stored order, real date and title. Campaign dates remain text. Spacing and Fit adjust the diagram; positions show order, not proportional elapsed time.

History and open threads
Review events, their connections and unresolved threads alongside your session measures.

Revisit and correct the record
Make changes deliberately and retain useful exports before replacing or removing material.
Edit a recorded session or remove it from the list. The chart redraws from the remaining values. Review imported values, especially when a newly enabled metric has no value in an older session.
Edit the event’s fields and selected dependencies. Deleting an event also removes links that pointed to it. A dependency link records your chosen relationship rather than proving story causation.
The check uses the whole stored chronology, even when a filter narrows the view. It reports missing links, duplicate identifiers, untitled records, self-links and loops; it does not repair records automatically.
Local campaigns can be reopened or deleted through Saved. The open record attempts to save automatically as you work. Verify important changes by reopening and keep exports; there is no prior-version library.
Clear data and sharing boundaries
Understand what imports replace, what exports contain and which material needs review before sharing.
Import a current session-and-event object, a sessions array or an events-only file. A supplied collection replaces that part of the open campaign; an omitted collection is retained. Review imported values and links before using the result.
Copy or download all stored session and event arrays. Export omits campaign identity, enabled display settings and custom metric definitions, so it is not a full local-library backup. Keep those display details separately when needed.
Export SVG uses the filtered lane view, including its visible links. To include the whole event view, clear filters before exporting. Print uses the Events view; review the result and page width before sharing.
There is no separate player view. The tool has no direct Combat PRO scene handoff. Read descriptions and notes before sharing. It does not provide cloud sync, automatic session capture or a live encounter connection; other products require separate access.
Choose access for your toolkit
Campaign Timeline Visualizer is a paid standalone tool. Create a free account first, then review your selection and subscription.
Select Campaign Timeline Visualizer individually. Creating a free account does not by itself include paid generator access.
Choose a five-generator pack for other eligible standalone tools alongside this one. It provides selection capacity, not automatic access to every VISINVOKE product.
Review larger selected-generator packs in your account. Check the actual generators, subscription and reselection terms before choosing your toolkit.
Combat PRO, Battlemaps and image systems have their own access models. Standalone generator subscriptions do not include image or animation credits.

Keep important events and session assessments available when an earlier promise, discovery or consequence matters again.
Read a lane, category or status without deleting the wider record. Return to the complete view when you need its other connections.
Start Here and How Do I guidance cover metrics, sessions, events, links, continuity notes, imports, exports and local saving.
You enter events and metric values. Use the charts to read those records while keeping decisions about meaning and future play with your group.

Quick answers
Understand the record, exports and local saving before opening the tool.
You enter events and metric values. The tool draws the history and values you record; it does not transcribe sessions, infer consequences, predict a story or decide what happens next. Metric values are your chosen assessments.
Events are ordered by session number, then stored order, real date and title. Events without a session sort after numbered ones. Campaign dates are text for reference. Diagram spacing follows event order, not proportional elapsed time or a custom calendar.
It checks the whole stored chronology for missing links, duplicate identifiers, untitled events, self-links and dependency loops, with warnings for unknown categories or statuses. It reports problems rather than changing them. It does not establish story truth or repair every chronological inconsistency.
Campaigns are saved on this computer; the tool does not provide cloud sync or a prior-version library. JSON export contains session and event arrays. It omits campaign identity and custom metric definitions, so it is not a full local-library backup. Verify saved work by reopening it and keep useful exports.
SVG export captures the currently drawn event lane diagram, including active filters. Arrows appear only when both linked events are visible. To include the complete event view, clear filters before exporting. JSON includes all stored sessions and events. There is no separate player view; review everything you share.
Create a free VISINVOKE account, select Campaign Timeline Visualizer at US$1.99/month or through an eligible selected-generator pack, and open it in Desktop Command Centre on Windows. Local timeline records do not synchronise to the account. Combat PRO and other products have separate access.
